The hotel had very worn rooms with poor decor and maintenance issues, although the staff made an effort to set up a travel cot. The location suited our needs but noise from traffic could be disruptive. Dining options were limited, and the facilities were not as described.

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The room was swelteringly hot with no way to adjust the heating, and I ended up in a different room with an external shared bathroom. The hotel definitely needs a refurbishment, but the price was reasonable for three people staying.

The location was very convenient for me, being on the main bus route to the airport. It was great with buses connecting all over Edinburgh, including to the city center and the zoo.
